Craft Project

Here's my latest craft project (with some help from Mom): a winging banner for NavyGuy. Apparently, it's tradition for the girlfriend, fiancee, mom, wife, etc., to create a banner to commemorate when someone gets their wings. It's then hung out on the front porch to proclaim to the entire neighborhood, "Hey a Navy pilot lives here and he's finally done with flight school!"

Perhaps it's the cynical feminist in me, but haven't you done enough, now you're supposed to make a damn banner for the man??!?!?!?

It is beautiful though and a lovely sentiment. And props to Navyguy for all his hard work. I'm just still bitter that he's taking you to the ends of the earth (okay it's still in the continental US).

Miss you. Love you. Hope your sanity is still somewhat in tact.
