Escort Cards
What do we think of this, for the shape/design of escort cards? I've already "ix-nayed" an airplane ice sculpture because I don't want to go overboard with flight/Navy stuff, but it might be nice to include some flying aspect in the wedding... hmm.... cute or cheesy?

I like it, but answer me this.....are escort cards place saver cards? I've never heard of calling them escort cards. WHen you first used that term for Sister's wedding, I thought they were for escorts.....people's dates that you didn't know, like cousin's random friend she brought because she never has a boyfriend.
I know, DORK.
But no, I don't think it's too cheezy. It's cute. You have to have something Officer and Gentlemanish there.....his career isn't much of a secret anymore. ;)
Hehehe... yeah, I guess escort cards and place cards are the same thing. Someone explained to me that the cards can be called "escort" because they're there to "escort" people to their correct table. Anyone else heard a different synonym for these things?
"Escort Card" reminds me of the old Fred Astaire movie "Daddy Longlegs" where they have dance cards. (Sigh.) You remind us of a more elegant time, Mugs. They are very cute - not to mention simple to do...I vote yes.
