It's Sophie's Choice!
The photos aren't great quality (it's awfully tricky to take pics of fast-moving pups), but our future puppy is amongst this group! There are three black females in the litter, so with help from the breeder, we're going to make the final choice on Thursday. I played with all three for almost an hour today, and basically fell in love with each of them - they had a blast romping around with each other and stretching their legs. For reference sake, each pup is about the size of a football right now... but significantly softer and sweeter :)
Any suggestions or tips on how I can possibly choose between them?
(And no, I can't tell the difference between them in the pictures... for all I know, they're all the same pup... you try keeping track of three little balls of unstoppable energy!)

What the heck! If you're taking one, you might as well take two. !. No need to share the hugging. 2. Playmates. 3. More balanced walks. 4. One to hunt, one to stay home with mom. 5. One upstairs, one downstairs???
She'll pick you. That's how we picked Argo, he was the one that showed the most interest in us...while the other puppies ran to get the food that was just put out, he sat and stared at us. Though I agree, two is much better then one.
Mugs....2 is like having twins. Are you ready to have two waking you up at night, needing to go out, eat, whine, need to cuddle?
Go with one. JUST one. :)
Besides, TWO giant dogs gallumphing through your pretty house? That's alot of dog.
(But this coming from a girl who wants a dog that can fit in a purse. We are not on the same dog-level.)
I was going to say the same thing Cole said. Our pup came to both of us and wanted our attention while all the other puppies just ran around and played together.
I also think two is better than one. We had two black labs for a while, until the oldest passed away, and it was great! We definitely plan to get another lab as a buddy for our current one. I didn't feel like it was any extra work, other than setting out two bowls of food in the morning.
Since they're all cute, behavior is the proper test. Try to test which one will be less naughty (stealing, growling, etc).
Well despite the rational answers like good behavior, connection to you and NavyGuy, etc...I vote for jumping on the two train! Your pups will always have a friend to play with, and they're just sooooo cute ;)
